Teach factual knowledge about a particular place or set of places; budget time and money; optimize a solution that balances several competing possibilities.
Place knowledge, generally within social studies grades 4 and up. May also be used to augment the teaching of literature or history by focusing on the places described in a work of fiction or places lived in by an individual being studied. For foreign language study, include web sites in the target language.
If sufficient information including costs can be found on the web or elsewhere, design a tour in some time period in the past. Design a tour that the class will actually take.
