Putting Text and Image Next to Each Other in Home Page

1. First place the cursor where you want to add the table and image.

2. From the Insert menu, choose Insert Table


Click on the Insert Table button on the Tool Bar.


3. Double click on the newly created table.

Adjust the number of Rows from 2 to 1.

Change the Border from 1 to 0.

4. Click once in the cell that you want the image to go in.

Go to the Insert Image icon on the Tool Bar or Insert on the Menu Bar.

Select the desired image.

5. Now you're ready to put your text in the other cell. You may either cut and paste or start typing.

6. The Width and Height may remain on Auto.

You may also need to change the Vertical Alignment. If your text does not fill the entire cell.
